My stay at Bruggwirt in Sankt Johann was absolutely incredible. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by Marita on reception, who was a brilliant woman with excellent English. The staff throughout the hotel were lovely, especially the two male waiters. The substantial breakfast provided each morning was delicious and got me off to a great start for the day. The room I stayed in was extremely comfortable, and I had a fantastic view from my window. The hotel's location was perfect for me, as it was close to the town center and the ski bus stop was conveniently located directly across the road. I would highly recommend Bruggwirt to anyone looking for a lovely and comfortable stay in Sankt Johann.
Couldn't find any faults at all 😃

I chose this hotel for attending a colloquium and it proved to be a great choice. The hotel's facilities and room amenities were perfect for business travellers looking for accommodation in the neighborhood. The facilities were well-maintained and provided a comfortable and productive environment during my stay.
The only thing that I missed during my stay was a dedicated business center. It would have been helpful to have a space with computers and printing facilities available for guests to use for work purposes.

Lovely holiday; very old Austria atmosphere. People in Sankt Johann recommended it for its restaurant, although we didn't get a chance to try. Fairly close to Gondolas for ski slopes - less than 5 min walk. Very central - only 2min walk from town center. Good massage, sauna, etc.

Restuarant and food were excellent!
A rather cold attitude of the owner toward guests. Slightly unfriendly to children and a smokey environment to have to walk by everyday.

Lovely staff, especially the waiters. Exceptional half-board food. Quirky and comfortable. Hot restaurant. Recommend.

The hotel is located on the Great Little Trains of Austria, which is a fantastic experience. It's very close to the slopes, which is very convenient for skiing. There are different nearby villages to visit, which is great for exploring. The breakfast buffet is extensive, and you can eat as much or as little as you want.
The hotel decor is very different and sexual in content, which may not be suitable for families with children.

The furniture and decoration had a traditional Austrian feel, with beautiful pieces that added character to the rooms and common areas. It made me feel like I was staying in a lovely, old-fashioned home. The hotel was also very accessible for senior people, with easy navigation and no stairs to climb. It was a comfortable and welcoming environment for someone like me.
I wished the children working there were more attentive to the needs of senior guests. Sometimes it felt like they were too busy or not fully aware of our specific requirements.

We stayed in a cozy family room during the pre-Xmas week. The room was centrally situated and only took us a 7-10 minute walk to the main ski station and slopes. We also loved that there were plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants around us, making our stay more convenient. The hotel has a warm ambiance and the staff was always kind, helping us with our needs when asked.
Sadly, the hotel wasn't up to our expectations. Although the room was cozy, we found that the sauna room facilities were far from inviting and quite gloomy.

I keep coming back here because the staff is helpful. They gave me great info about the town. This place suits me perfectly. It has Wi-Fi, luggage storage, a bar, a restaurant, and a welcome drink. It also offers a massage, steam room, and Turkish bath. Plus, laundry service, flat-screen TV, and an express check-in/out option. They have a ski school, ski storage, and activities like hiking, cycling, fishing, horseback riding. Tennis courts are available too. They can provide in-room breakfast and there are sun loungers for relaxation. It's also wheelchair accessible, pet-friendly, and a non-smoking area. Planning to come back soon for another trip.

We loved the location of this hotel, it was close to the slopes which were amazing, and there were loads of bars and restaurants nearby. The cleanliness of the hotel was fantastic, and it had great facilities like parking and transportation. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was really good too.
Nothing all excellent.

We loved the location of this hotel as it was close to the town center. The room was very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant had a great selection of delicious food and a good wine selection. The wellness area was also very nice.
The only thing we found was that the restaurant was a bit too hot. However, overall, we had a great experience at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
